For sale is a beautifully detailed vintage sterling silver box from Black Starr & Frost. The box is oval in shape and measures store 4.25" L x 3" W x 1" H. There is a hinge on the back where the box opens. The top has an oval rose motif along with beaded edge. The sides are open filigree with beading on the bottom. The box is stamped sterling and has the Black Starr & Frost mark along with what looks like an L, a star, and a R. The top of the box is rippled within the oval and has a slight dent near the hinge. There is light scratching on bottom and on lid.
